沖縄に暮らす、海外出身のオーナーからいただいた一台の製作依頼。
これまで、さまざまな自転車に乗ってこられたオーナーが、今回初めて選んだピストバイク。
その一台として選んでいただいたのが、DOSNOVENTA LOS ANGELES

A customer from overseas, now living in Okinawa, entrusted Charlie with a very special build. Having ridden many different kinds of bicycles, he chose a fixed-gear bike for the first time: the DOSNOVENTA LOS ANGELES, built in Charlie’s own CHARLIES STYLE. He wasn't looking for speed alone, but for a bike that would feel at home in everyday life. We're grateful to have been trusted with the bike that marks the beginning of his fixed-gear journey.

トップチューブが地面と平行に伸びる、伝統的なホリゾンタルフレーム。
無駄を削ぎ落とした美しいシルエットは、
シンプルでありながら、確かな存在感を放ちます。
オーナーが選んだカラーは、JET BLACK
深みのある艶やかなブラックが、
フレームの美しいラインを際立たせ、落ち着いた気品と力強さを感じさせます。
This build starts with the DOSNOVENTA LOS ANGELES, known for its classic horizontal top tube and clean, distinctive silhouette. The owner chose JET BLACK: a deep, glossy finish that brings out the frame's lines with understated elegance and strength.
このフレームが持つ魅力を最大限に活かしながら、細部までバランスを考えて製作を進めていきます。
Charlieが何より大切にしているのが、見た目だけではわからない部分です。
ヘッドチューブやボトムブラケットの精度を確認し、
必要な下処理を施したうえで、一つひとつのパーツを丁寧に組み付けていきます。
We wanted to bring out the best in this frame while paying attention to every detail. Much of what matters most isn't immediately visible. We check the head tube and bottom bracket, prepare the frame where needed, and assemble every component with care.
どれほど優れたパーツであっても、
正しく組み付けられていなければ、その性能を十分に引き出すことはできません。
だからこそ、一つひとつの工程を大切にしながら、丁寧に組み上げていきます。
Even the finest parts can't perform as intended if they're not installed correctly. That's why we take every stage of the build seriously.

For this CHARLIES STYLE build, we carefully matched the components to balance everyday usability with riding performance. From the drivetrain to the wheels and cockpit, the focus is on reliability and ease of use. It is a bike made for enjoying the streets, with the potential to take on serious racing as well, subject to event equipment rules.

The result is clean, cohesive and considered down to the smallest details—without unnecessary decoration.
製作を進める中で、オーナーから心に残る言葉をいただきました。
いつか日本での生活を終え、母国へ帰る日が来ても、
このピストバイクがCharlieという店と、日本で過ごした時間を思い出させてくれる存在になる。
そんな想いを伝えてくださいました。
During the build, Mark shared something that stayed with us. When his time in Japan comes to an end and he returns home, he hopes this bike will remind him of Charlie and the time he spent here. We were deeply moved by those words.
一台一台の製作に向き合う中で、いつも大切にしていることがあります。

Whenever we work on a bike, there is something we always keep in mind: once it is finished, it becomes part of its owner's everyday life and, in time, part of their story. Years, even decades from now, we hope that every ride brings back memories of the streets they have travelled and the days they have shared with the bike. And if a small fixed-gear shop called Charlie has a place somewhere in those memories, nothing would make us happier.
